October 19, 1997: The final version of the 
CORE-MoU is now available (See 
http://www.gtld-mou.org/docs/core-mou.htm)
This supersedes the draft posted on July 17, 1997
(see http://www.gtld-mou.org/docs/core-mo1.htm). 
The CORE-MoU has been signed by the Chairman of iPOC on
October 18, 1997 and will now be circulated for
signature to the entities qualifying under the gTLD
registrar selection process (see 
http://www.gtld-mou.org/docs/reg-results.html). 
                                                    
October 19, 1997: The Internet Society (ISOC)
Board of Trustees has announced its new
appointees to the gTLD-MoU Policy Oversight
Committee. The new appointees are Mr. Christopher 
Wilkinson (3 year term) and and Mr. David Maher 
(1 year term). See the ISOC web site for more information
