it the perview of the IAHC to determine how a regestery manages
contact, domain, and name server handles? If so should some one write
a proposal on how these identifers are to be handled, or is this
up to each regestry operator.
IMHO this as something hat the IETF should handle (excuse the pun.)
I would like to understand the IAHC's position on these identifers
as I believe that these services should be interopable across regestries.
As an ISP I believe that manageing N number of contact handles allong with
N number of gardian like implementations will be a heavy burdan on the ISPs.
Not dealing with these issues could create a lot of confusion when it comes
time to regester a new SLD in these new regestries.
I intend to propose an IETF WG at the San Jose IETF to deal with these matters,
I just want to know if I'm wasteing my time trying to get these consepts
into the IETF.
Thanks,
-Rick
