I find it odd that a WG that supposedly is dealing with the evolution of
IP allocation procedures and which has stated they do not want to deal
with domain name registration procedures is now welcoming domain name
registration discussions within their BOF.
This is doubly strange when there is another BOF being held, ITLDM
I believe, to discuss domain name registry issues.
No doubt the cofusion comes because the IP allocation folks insist on
using the term "registry" which makes it seem that there is some
relationship between IP allocation and domain name registries.
