I Propose the creation of a free Top
Level Domain Registry called FREENIC.
It would be funded by all commercial
NICs including Internic and Alternic.
It would be mandatory for commercial
TLD services to a percentage of their
profits to the FREENIC. This would be
the price of doing business.
I will put my TLD .FCN (Free Community
Network http://www.fcn.net) as one of
the consortium of Free, non-profit TLD's
that would form the core of FREENIC.
