The protocols between a registry and the META-registry are probably not
the problem. I even think that it is not a difficult task to adapt the
current registry software quickly for such use, whether you use the RIPE
database (I used to maintain this software ... so I might be able to
speak for it ;-)) or InterNIC database as a starting point. Yes, it might
be possible to define better or other standards but there is time for
doing this since there are intermediate solutions.
