Well, in the last week or two, the IAHC has probably been contacted by
50 various 'coalitions/forums/special interest groups/intergovernmental
organizations/committees/individuals, etc.' from every possible sphere of
activity you can imagine who also believe that 'they should be on the IAHC'.
In many cases, these requests appear to be justified but there is the need to
find the balance between getting work done and some monstrous committee which
does nothing.
Personally, I think you should consider the IAHC has a sort of steering
committee to bootstrap something more stable and representative. Please
have a little patience - we've got to start somewhere. You'll see a proposal
that attempts to address this within the next month.
