Questions for all those using prior-use arguments

I have a question for all those people using prior-use arguments;
suppose a better registry comes along for the same TLD. This is not
a comment on your registry, but let's say a mythical TLD with
unlimited money, who charges nothing, millions of people in
tech support who never eat and never get tired, come along to
run the TLD that you so much reserve under prior use. You still
feel that your registry should get rights for the TLD?

In other words, under prior-use it's really
 "first come with MINIMAL registry requirements first served?"

Really good for you,
really bad for the Internet.
