I have not started an Internet business but I have been the one who
has written the entire business plan for 4 ISPs (IBM Israel being the
latest). Writing it involves knowing every terminal server that needs
to be bought, the DNS that needs to configed, the amount of memory
needed on every Cisco router, the amount of people needed to
handle a Netview screen over 3 shifts, etc. I have never spent
my working life in a committee, but I make my living selling my hours
to companies who need to build an ISP and are rather clueless in how
to do it. I need to look at costs, revenue flow, competition, marketing,
etc. so the job is not strictly technical.

I believe I understand the implications and deliberations that
business goes through every day (I've been running on empty between
IAHC work and having a Ministry of Education bid for 3,000 schools
to have Internet connectivity that is due on Monday) very well.
I am prepared to discuss the matter with you offline if you have
more questions or wish to verify my knowledge.
