 Agreed. IP Adress alocation and
 the RFC porcess are off-topic.
I'm working on a revision in which
both IP alocation and RFC process
 oversight are included (but not
detailed) in the perview of this
 International Internet Commission.

The idea is sound in regards to
 the preservation of "." (the
 undefined root), in establishing
 a meta-registry and in defining
 the new TLD creation/registry
process. Sure as heck beats what
 is in place now.

 As for issues of Internationalism,
democracy and treaty these are vitally
important to the interests of 5 billion
citizans web world wide. Let's try and
do this correctly instead of siding
once more with expediency over reason.

It was intended to be both
 amusing and critical. Postel
 could have stopped NSI. But
then he would have been side-
lined a year ago instead of
a month ago. He'll enjoy his
 retirement as net.godhead on
a beach in Figi either way.
