I'd like to comment that the environment is kind enough to
provide constraints on the solutions we might provide, and
that this is a **really nice** thing.
I like adding constraint clusters to problems in my head
until either I overconstrain the probklem or my brain overflows.
In the latter case, I'm probably looking at the problem from the
wrong viewpoint. In the former case, If I can find the right constraint
cluster to loosen, I have a small possible solution set to look at.
(Both are variants on Occam's razor, by the way.)
And yes, overconstraining problems sounds counterintuitive.
but I claim, based on the above, that it's a good idea. And
eminently suitable in this discussion.
