I will retain the TLD's .WTV and
.FCN with the same authority and
assurance as Internic retains .COM
.ORG and .NET. Internic funded IANA
in order to justify and protect it's
monopoly. IANA is now out of the
process entirely IAHC is the next
attempt to preserve monopoly. And
I will no more follow it's decisions
than those of IANA - another unlegal
and unsanctioned little club.
Recall that no government or inter-
national body gave Internic the right
to any of the TLD's they appear to own.
And no-one will be able to take them
away from Internic - let's see the IAHC
try! The same is true for my TLD's. And
those of any other person or group
claiming TLD's now or in the future.
I'd say stake your claim now in a TLD
that relates to your life work and the
pattern of previous ventures. Respect
other people's trademarks as best you
can and regard other person's prior
use. Compromise where necessary and
co-operate with the legitimate
regulation process.
But give up your claim? I'd say
Internic should lead the way first
and drop all claim to any of their
domain names and business. Til then
there is no way I'll give up .WTV
and .FCN
