Why? You have only said that work remains to be done for shared and
that therefore we need exclusive immediately. You are assuming an
immediate need for iTLD's without giving a reason. What's the rush?

Organizations unable to work together is an inappropriate reason. The
crackpots on this list won't likely be running registries. The people
who are angry or upset because they have sunk money into exclusive
registry development will, when the smoke clears, may be running shared
registries. I don't think they will try and sabotage what will STILL be
a lucrative business.

It's sad that you make important architectural and policy decisions
based on the petty bickering of a few and not on the reasoned debate of
the many.
