I recieved your earlier offer, and I'm sure you have good intentions, but
as someone who deals with the individuals and small businesses that use free
domains, I can tell you that they as much as anyone else wants a *good*
short name. .FCN might make perfect sense to you but the great majority of
users want a free TLD suffix which actually resembles a word. In any case
for now I'm working directly with Pierre of EU.ORG to implement a working
shared registry between second level domains because we do not believe in
creating fake TLDs, even for experimental purposes. We will post the results
of our creation in a few months and if it works well probably submit a
proposal to IAHC about it.

For now the decision has been made to work on it as a closed project; I read
the old shared-tld mailing list and though many interesting points were made
there, like most TLD mailing lists there was more arguing and less doing.
The time has come to actually implement something and then fix it from
there, rather than argue in theory.
