For those bears of little brain who keep insisting that there is/was no
procedure for any new TLDs except "to wait for the IAHC", these new
TLDs** show that there is an existing, functioning, and active
procedure to establish new non-ISO 3166 TLDs in ".". The procedure *IS*
there. Denial is futile.

In the same in-tray at IANA as those two TLDs are many pre-IAHC and
pre-draft-postel TLD applications. You KNOW what will happen if these
applications are just tossed out.

Judging by your remarks, you are insisting the iAHC have no say in
anything but iTLDs? This is a remarkably stupid idea. Their job is to
make sure the namespace is consistent across all TLD types. Otherwise
they've come one step closer to permanently fragmenting the namespace.

**BTW, I have no problem with either of these two TLDs being in the
root (though I am very suprised Canvey Island and the Isle of Wight
did't get the same treatment ;^p). They just happen to be convenient
examples.
