Re: Hijacked Domain Names?

Kent you talk with way too much
 certainty for an internet in
which there are so many alt.*
 newsgroups it's hard to keep
 track, personal Web pages out
 number business pages by huge
 magnitudes and creativity and
 individuality are not only
 respected but encouraged.

I suspect an alternative will be
 very welcome among the regular
people. After all to resolve the
new TLD's all I have to do is set
 my personal name server settings
to another number. And then it's
 bye-bye Internic monopoly.

Seems to me you and your friends
 have spent more time together
 hatching plans to stiffle the
 people out there than actually
 listening to or observing their
 true nature. Mistake.

Denninger says go ahead IAHC or IANA
(or whatever) and do what you like.
Just do not touch or attempt to
 circumvent or otherwise harm the
 Alternative Top Level Domain Names
already emmerging. It would be not
be wise or respectful of the amount
of work we have done to create them.
