All of the items you cite are certainly interesting and important
and I think that your desire to get focussed discussion on them is a good
idea. The aspect of this which makes it out of IAHC scope, in my opinion,
is that your examples show a desire to pursue the technical aspects of
these issues, even pertaining to trademark conflict. I personally think
that such an effort would be interesting and well might be useful. But the
IAHC is trying pretty hard not to invent any technology. It's focus is
administration, operation and legalities.

for iTLDs, this is within scope for IAHC. Your example, however,
goes more broadly into the basic, essential and general question of name
"meaning". That is most definitely beyond the scope of the current IAHC
work, though concerns over policies and procedures for second-level domain
assignments are certainly relevant. I don't yet know whether the IAHC
proposal will cover such issues and, if it does, whether it will do so in
any detail.

For another venue discussing directory services, your above comment
makes for a ripe opportunity to consider why the incantation "LDAP" seems
to resolve people's concerns so readily.
