I believe that the organizational name, address, and a business phone is
pretty much mandated.
Corporate registration requires these things.
Again, if you want to accept connections without using a "directory service"
then you can always use IP numbers -- DNS isn't necessary.
The abstraction layer is what creates the value -- and what generates the
need to be able to track the "owner" of the name.
