domains, as well.
In some of the early shared TLD discussions people were insisting
that domains should be enabled in what seems to me an absurdly short
time -- less than an hour. We have seen similar sentiments expressed
on this list. I have never seen any realistic business necessity
that demanded short turnaround time on the creation of domain names.
Thirty days might seem like a long time, but my (admittedly somewhat
limited experience) is that, in setting up a business that really
warrants its own name, thirty days flashed by invisibly, compared to
other delays I experienced.
