Please, this is silly. If there is such a demand for these national
TLDs, then obviously a registry will step up to service it based on
the obvious profit center. If this isn't the case, then there's no
apparent demand, is there?

This is a "problem" that will take care of itself quite nicely, and
appears to be outside of the decision-set of the IAHC; at least in
the short term.
