This is a position that is, no doubt, held by many organizations. The
solution would be to apply to the IAHC for the iTLD in question and
run it as a member of the organization in question.
Anyone with the means and desire can create and operate a magazine about
museums. Much like magazines about museums, for which I'm sure there are
quite a few, there may be more than one iTLD for museums. It would,
therefore, be advisable to begin preparing an application for the .MUSEUM
(or whatever you fancy) iTLD as soon as possible, in anticipation of
becoming a registry for such an iTLD.
