 National registries are limited
 and in many circumstances poorly
 administered. Here in Canada, for
example, we are stuck with a .CA
registry that forces us all into
 provincial Secondary Domain names
and even city or municipal Tertiary
domains should we not meet some
 pre-established and inflexible
 standard of bigness. Absurd.

Should we not choose to go the
was of the national registry we
are stuck with Internic. And our
money flees the country. We must
 have Registry choices in our
 respective nations or in the
 international forum. This US
 monopolizing.COM is really in
 need of closure.

The problem is complexity. Once you start
stacking name upon name it may just be
easier to use the IP number as an address.
I don't see how having new TLD's will harm
anyone. I mean there are already a couple
of hundred TLD's out there more or less.
A thousand more wouldn't effect the functioning
of the Internet *UNLESS* this IAHC bunch
refuse to accept previous use. Then all
hell is about to break loose.
