Bob,

Like the governments of China, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cuba, etc. Do try to
be a bit less parochial. Its a big world out there, Bob, and not
everyone elects their government.

You're foaming at the mouth against the "American" monopolization of
this TLD stuff grows extremely tiresome. There are many people and
countries who would view your pronouncements as yet more Western
cultural imperialism.
Give it a rest. Governments will get involved if they feel it
necessary and no one, not the IAHC, the IANA, or you, would be able to
stop them. Until the governments do get involved however, I'd suggest
giving the IAHC the benefit of the doubt and see what they can come up
with. In the meantime, _PLEASE_ stop whining.
