>From a business perspective 30-60 days is ridiculous. If the registries are to
be expected to put in an investment into providing a high-quality of service, a
decent time must be allocated to allow them to recover. How much time is
difficult to estimate. I think a compromise that would satisfy many would be in
the range of 3-4 years, pending re-evaluation of the situation.
It is not my first choice, but a reasonable compromise that I think could
satisfy many.
