I remember that bright, sunny day well. I said at that meeting that I'd
not take any money until my requested TLD(s) were in the root. We
haven't invoiced anyone yet, nor have we received any monies yet from
these activities (DISCLOSURE: I did find a quarter in the USC parking
lot after the meeting).
Lemme see... Bill did suggest the disclaimer, and did not violently
oppose payments made under that disclaimer. I remember you thinking
that this was a great idea. Uh... you have been sending Bill his
payola, I mean royalties, right?
Fortunately my goals are long term, and the pricing structure is VERY
competitive compared to other registries (such as the one for
MANNING.ORG).
