I've said this before and I'll say it again. The job of running a registry
database is a trivial technical problem that can easily be arranged with
only a few weeks notice. I am assuming the use of commercial grade UNIX
systems, commercial multi-user database like Oracle or Informix or
Progress, and an experienced database implementor. There should be no
problem in setting up a telnettable interface and CGI forms interface
within that timeframe.

The normal way that corporations in todays world create shared databases
and ensure validity.

I think the IAHC expects us to be answering these kinds of questions, not
asking them.
