One reason: because here you become visible to the whole world, not just
from one country. Infringement becomes so much easier...
As for the 60 dayx, it may be a little too long, but I don't believe that it
is really on the critical path for an organization's Internet presence. The
technical, organizational, market planning, content building... works take
longer than that. Just plan your projeccts correctly, and you won't see the
60 days going by.
