I must say I'm tired of the sef intrest expressed on this list.
IMHO what we should be discussing should *NOT* be in our
self intrest but in the smooth running of the DNS system.
Sure some will make a buck of manageing DNS but I believe it
should be run smoothly. I don't like the 60 day waiting peroid
but I do understand why it is a good idea. If it reduces the
amount of lawers and law suits with respect to domain names
then it is a *GOOD* idea.
I don't like the lottery because I'd like to be involved in
the future regestries. IMHO a lottery does reduce the number of
entities working in a shared regestry. I believe a shared regestry
is a good thing and should be developed further.
I have only once wish and that is that the discource on this list
would focus on creating the gTLDs in such a way thet it maximizes
the benifit to the net at large, and not the self intrest of some
set of individuals.
