  Any sane user-interface designer will ensure that they have
a means for doing a ``prefix search'' on multiple commercial
domains, such as .com, .tm.int and .co.uk if the IAHC proposal moves
toward RFC status.
  This has the usefull side-effect, **for the two groups above**
of making it easy to maintain one's domain name while changing one's
top-level domain.

  The investors in domains like .com, on the otehr hand, will not
patticularly appreciate folks doing this.  And I suspect the DNS
will complain if they don't cache/precache carefully...
