  Well, currently I know of no CORBA apps for a shared registry.  But
there are
development efforts underway currently in that arena.  We ourselves are
in
process of developing some CORBA/IDl apps for this very perpose.  

  You mention that you have someone that believes that software should
be FREE!
Well, I do no support that idea at all.  And none of what we are
developing 
in CORBA/IDL/IIOP will be free.  

  Yes Apple bought our Next!  Good idea to get Steven Jobs back where he 
belongs.  He will help that company.  

  You must understand that we live in Commerce drivin world, my friend!
