And showing, once again, the joys of life's tradeoffs, the
counter-concern is that one replies to a message and thinks it is going to
the author but, no, it goes to everyone on the list. Such unexpected,
broad dissemination of a reply can be rather irksome if, say, the reply
comments about other participants on the list...
So the tradeoff is between some inconvenience when replying to all,
versus serious accidental divulgance of content, seriously violated
intended privacy.
What a choice!
