HI Christopher,
I like the tenor and content of your message - let's get something
together we can all live with. But I am not convinced we have a
consensus on the shared registry model. I have serious reservations 
with this model and so do others. Let's take an opinion poll from
everyone on this discussion group and see how people feel about this.
We could send our "votes" to somebody on the IAHC who could then
publish the results - rough consensus. I will feel a whole lot better
about this if I thought shared regsitries is the best for the Internet,
but I am not convinced. Thoughts?
