Seems to me that someone made a personal attack on Perry and he chose to
reply with a humourous remark rather than take personal offense at the
attack. When you attack people personally you really cannot expect much
better.
If anyone wants to have a substantive point answered on the list they
would do well to refrain from personal attacks and from imputing other
people's motives.
