It seems to me that it would be helpful to have copies of the comments
submitted by non-members of this list posted here. Otherwise, we, the
members of this list, are systematically excluded from the "big picture"
and, more importantly, from the benefit of using those comments as a
springboard to a wider-ranging discussion. I know that my own horizons
have been considerably broadened by input from ALL the participants on
this list.
(Disclaimer--it is also true that having access to those outside
comments will improve the scope, depth and, I hope, the value of the
article I'll be writing for Internetwork. That takes me somewhat
outside the realm of a neutral observer on this aspect of the issue.)
