I am in favour of neither.

I am in favour of having as many registries as meet objective selection
criteria, and each one selecting a number of gTLDs. That number can be
1, 2, 3, or whatever - that is open to discussion.

Above and beyond anything else, the lottery is entirely unacceptable.
