	oh?

	At our public meeting, I heard one speaker declare that the domain
name space must be treated as a public resource, with administrative
services contracted for.  I heard the audience spontaneously applaud.  To
underscore this point, I then asked the counter question:  What about
treating the name space as an entrepreneurial opportunity for brand-equity
deevelopment, licensing names to registrars and letting then develop them
as they wish, making whatever profit they were able.  The audience hissed.
