I never claimed to know everything about the Internet.
I'm just pointing out that it is not cheap to use Internet telephony for
a fast-track process like the IAHC. It takes time and money to hire
consultants, research the technology, pick a compatible system, ensure
that everyone has compatible hardware, software and an Internet service
capable of the required bandwidth and to train the users.
In contrast, email and telephones are cheap, ubiquitous and everyone
already knows how to use them.
I'm glad the IAHC isn't a bunch of geeks trying to live on the bleeding
edge of technology because if they were, nothing would ever get
accomplished.
