The money isn't to enter. As has been repeatedly stated, the money is
only taken from the winners, as a fee to cover expenses. The expenses
have to be covered -- this isn't optional. I believe it is reasonable
to expect those who are benefiting from the process to pay for it, and
that it is reasonable to make sure the money is actually available
beforehand.

I don't think I shall be saying more on this particular subject for a
while -- its been beaten to death.
