Internet Constitution

Everyone,

It seems to me, we are trying to develope an Internet Constitution. In
doing so, shouldn't we remember who the Internet Community consists of?
Where they live? What language they speak? We all want what is best for
this community. How does an organization in a third world country
compete with the might and money of some of the more advanced countries?

A shared registry is not the answer in my opinion. I believe we let any
and all qualified companies or individuals pick their tld and put it to
market. I'm sure they will pick a name meaningful in their language to
use. They could market it for whatever their market would bare. Wouldn't
that be better than tell someone they must use a name with no meaning to
them or their country. It would be great if the world wide population
spoke only one language. Come on!! They don't.

I trust the IAHC members will be revisiting all the drafts summited and
rewrite this very important document using a little more input from the
efforts of their authors.
