What will end up happening is that everyone will race to fedex their
applications to arrive on the first day. I don't see that picking
companies based on who manages at random to get their fedex letter
delievered on top of the batch that arrives one morning instead of on
the bottom is superior to actually deciding to pick at random. If
anything, it will lead to lawsuits contending that someone's letter in
fact was on top of the pile and not on the bottom or some such. I'd
personally rather have an accounting firm supervise a real random
selection.
