Kent and all,
Please view this pointer reguarding legal issues with
respect to PGP as mentioned by Kent ina previous posting.
http://thegate.gamers.org/~tony/pgp-legal.html
After reading follow the pointer to,
http://www.ifi.uio.no/~staalesc/PGP/ This should enable you
to determine that there are some ambiguities in the current
policy/LAW on munitions with respect to PGP.
However this is really a moot point in some reapects to
the Dec 19 draft. It would not be good protocol to use
when there are alternitives the do not have these ambiguities
associated with them, such as SSL 3.0(Netscape) or PCT1
(microsoft). In addition I would also review Stronghold
and Apache systems as well. Stronghold Safepassage can be
found at http://stronghold.ukweb.com/, follow the pointers.
Apache can be found at Http://www.apache.com I believe.
Regards,
