I applaud the fact that the IAHC is spending time formulating
good ideas relevant to the operation of the ISO-3166 domains and
their coordination with the impending gTLDs. More importantly,
the IAHC has found it reasonable to include these ideas in the
Draft Proposal.

The only thing I have ever suggested here (and will henceforth
keep my trap shut about) is that there probably are as yet
untried means for bringing those good ideas closer to
implementation by the ISO-3166 authorities without in any way
attempting to assert power over them.
