Marc Hurst responds:
Not only is this a sacriligous comment but it is insulting to claim this
internationaliztion exists when there are no members outside the United
States. This miopic view of how the internet is governed, or how it is
perceived it should be governed, just goes to prove to those outside of
the U.S. academia how little regard you have for issues outside of your
sphere of influence, issues that you never could encounter from within
the culturally sterile and politically "reactive" governing atmosphere
from which you attempt to rule from.

Hmmmm. I guess you think an international organization means that people
working in it must come from various (all?) parts of the globe? IANA does
an international function for the Internet - that's what I meant by IANA
being an international organization. I expect most people, somewhat
knowledgeable about the Internet, would agree with me that IANA is an
international organization and should be funded by some group other
than the US Govt.

Now THAT'S INSULTING!!!

Happy New Year Mr. Heath... course cluelessness is Bliss so it should not
be that hard for you or the IANA to be happy...
