No, no.  I recognize your right to comment.  In fact I consider many
comments from those I would call TLD grabbers to be very useful.  Some
of them, like yourself seem very open to compromise.

Since you bring up the PUC, how did the gas and electric companies
initially get control of their monopolies?  I'm sure it had a lot more
legislation involved than this exercise.  I don't believe the IAHC can
legally grant exclusivity.  Even if they did, I am certain that it would
be challenged in court by someone who didn't get a TLD.

By insisting on exclusivity you attempt to ensure massive legal issues.

I also don't think capitalists are evil.  I am hoping that some of them
will run registries.  I think that money can be made in a shared
environment.  I think that much more can be made in an exclusive
environment, at the expense of the customer.
