So, an obvious question is...who runs whois?  The second obvious 
question is...who runs DNS?

Perhaps, though, since it is simple to keep the whois data in DNS, 
the real question is the second one.

It is surprising that the draft many times refers to the fact that 
DNS is critical to the operation of the net, but does not give a 
*single word* on how the proposed scheme interacts with DNS.  This 
seems to me a serious lack that should be rectified.
