This should be done by the registrar (if we want it to be done at all),
not by the repository. The registrar doesn't have such a trust problem
since it is using it's own local whois data of it's own customers with
which it is communicating directly.
The repository doesn't have a trust problem either: It communicates only
to registrars by use of authenticated messages.
Please let me know if I missed something ?!?
