But where is this information created and stored before it generates
the whois info? If it's in a host record within a zone/domain name
table, how does it get back into whois? It's easy for whois to contain
this info for an entire zone delegation, but, being hierarchical, how
do the records for 3LD & 4LDs get recorded by a central whois? These
host records are outside the control of a central whois authority.
