Shared or non-shared is an issue that can only be decided on an
individual basis and must be described in each TLDs charter. That
charter defines it's use and consequently it's delegation. If this
doesn't happen the namespace will be severely damaged. Why? The timing
and myopic nature of just a blanket/shotgun blast iTLD/gTLD solution
does not allow for or consider the consequential effects upon the
entire name space (both commercially and academically).
