Well, I am not a BIG fan of the 60 day period, I don't think it does
anything but slow down people. It certainly won't keep anyone out of
.com, cause I can get a domain in .com relatively fast. Certainly much
faster than 60 days. The wait is ridiculous from this standpoint. I
do, however, feel that a daily gazette of assigned names is appropriate.

Lottery is likely unecessary since the number of applicants(qualified)
in the first year is likely low. I think that the CORE should have some
say in what new gTLDs should be created. Chris, I believe you and I
came to agree that IAHC selecting some for cause and CORE selecting the
rest for business reasons would be appropriate. I don't guess we are
consensus though;-)

I think if not an interim draft, that perhaps some notes of their
discussions. They do have discussions don't they??? Perhaps posted
minutes of any discussions or is it all done in e-mail, Dave writes the
draft, and the other members sign off on it?
