I, too, believe the Registry should completely stay out of any trademark problem...and I don not think that there is any effective step that a registry can or should take to help the trademark holder. It all belongs in court.

I have just received an email from the trademark attorney for Universal Press Syndicate...he wants to know if you were referring to Charles Schultz's trademark character???
What should I tell him??
