I think it would be very unfair unless you had some specific information.
(By-the-way, I too am an attorney. I don't practice -- I find that
starting networking companies and hacking code is more fun -- but I am an
"active" member of the California bar.)
My concern isn't impartiality.
My concern is that the number of voices speaking from a trademark podium
exceeds those speaking for the rights of those who believe that trademark
is just one way of many that individuals and organizations may have a
legally cognizable right to the undisturbed use of a sequence of
characters in a domain name.
